Een mooie start van je High School jaar! Om je jaar optimaal te beginnen raden we je aan om deel te nemen aan dit mooie 4-daagse programma. Je ontmoet exchange students uit andere landen en krijgt een geweldige indruk van New York.

Het programma is inclusief:

Oriëntatie meeting inclusief materialen
2 dagen sightseeing in New York City
3 overnachtingen in gedeelde kamers met andere studenten
Elke dag ontbijt
Bezoek aan o.a. 5th Avenue, Central Park, Times Square, the High Line, Greenwich Village en Soho, Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, 9/11 Site, Columbia University en Top of the Rock voor een adembenemend uitzicht
Luchthaventransfers bij aankomst en vertrek
Begeleiding van begin tot einde
Hulp en advies van de Preparation Course begeleiders

Data: Aankomst eind juli tot eind augustus. Vertrek naar je gastgezin is 3 dagen later.

Voorbeeld programma

Day 1

Arrival at the airport
Transfer by bus to the recently updated South Street Seaport with a great first view of the Brooklyn Bridge. Also, there is often street entertainment and many shops to explore
Dinner on your own at the Seaport
Transfer to hotel for a good night’s rest

Day 2

Breakfast in hotel, depart 8:30 AM
Visit to Grand Central Station
Visit to Top of the Rock for a great view of the City
5th Avenue Walking Tour
Columbus Circle
Stop at the Time-Warner Building for lunch (on your own)
Guided tour of Columbia University
Walk through Central Park
Visit to Times Square and dinner at Bubba Gump Restaurant

Day 3

Breakfast in hotel, depart 9:00 AM
Walk on the High Line
Exciting ride on “The Beast”, a speedboat ride on the Hudson River with a great view of the Statue of Liberty
Drive to Greenwich Village and Soho for lunch (on your own)
Walk on the Brooklyn Bridge
Walk across Wall Street, where you will see the NY Stock Exchange and Federal Hall
Walk to the reflecting pools and the 9/11 site
Farewell dinner at the World Financial Center
Return to the hotel for a short departure meeting
